Suggest a name for the Ukrainian language model

We are seeking a name for the national language model we are developing together with Kyivstar.

 

Creating an LLM is a national project that affects millions of Ukrainians. Citizens will interact with the model through government services and business AI tools. It will also be available for use in science, education, and defense. Right now, everyone can influence what the national AI will be called.

Submit your name suggestions for the Ukrainian language model in the comments under the Instagram post through December 5. The top ten submissions, selected by the LLM development leads, will advance to a vote in the Diia app, where Ukrainians will choose the national model’s name.

 

The LLM will form the foundation of a future ecosystem of national AI solutions. It’s fitting that Ukrainians choose its name, as it will become part of our digital identity, like the .ua domain or Diia.

Prizes for the Diia vote winners:

• 1st–3rd place: Samsung flagship phone and branded phone strap

• 4th–5th place: JBL speaker and a one-year premium Kyivstar TV subscription

• 6th–10th place: Branded phone strap and a three-month premium Kyivstar TV subscription

The first version of the model will be presented by the end of 2025. After the testing period, the LLM will be available open-source for businesses.
