Diia will have an AI assistant for services
Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development and Minister of Digital Transformation, has announced the launch of an AI assistant in Diia. The beta test will start on the portal in June. The AI assistant will help to obtain the required service or certificate, find the nearest ASC, and in the future, it will be possible to communicate with it by voice.
"We have rethought what we are doing with Diia. In 2019-2020, we made a leap and created a sexy app in terms of UX/UI, where you can get services quickly. But now AI has changed the consumer culture. Anything that doesn't look like ChatGPT, Gemini, or other models raises questions about how to use it. In order to create the best user experience, we need to transform Diia into an AI product," said Mykhailo Fedorov.
During DOU Day, the Vice Prime Minister said that the AI assistant would be launched in a beta test format on the Diia portal in June. You will be able to not only receive services with the help of AI but also search for answers to questions, such as whether you need a certain certificate abroad and how to find the nearest ASC.
It is also planned that the AI agent will be able to send certificates and, in the future, will be able to conduct the entire service delivery process. In particular, it will be possible to describe a life situation and AI will suggest what service is needed. For example, a user writes: "A rocket hit my house," and then the AI agent understands that you need to get the eRestore service, send several photos, then send an application to the commission, etc.
In the future, you will be able to make a request by voice and communicate with Diia in the same way as you communicate with other models now.
