How AI is changing Ukrainian business: Survey findings
Artificial intelligence has become a new baseline for business. Together with Top Lead, more than 200 Ukrainian companies were surveyed about how they use AI and its impact on their operations.
Ninety-three percent of surveyed companies already use AI. The most active plans for further adoption are in trade, marketing and PR, the financial sector, education, and services.

How companies use AI
Most companies rely on AI for data and market analysis and forecasting. Marketing and sales rank second, with about 64% of respondents using AI in this area. Security and cybersecurity remain the least common applications, cited by 18.4% of companies.

How effective AI is for business
Sixty-two percent of businesses report a positive impact from AI on productivity and financial performance, indicating a shift from experimentation to tangible business value.

What motivates companies to adopt AI
The primary driver of AI adoption is the automation of routine and other operational tasks. This suggests that, for now, AI is more often used to optimize business processes than to transform them fundamentally.

The survey was conducted by Top Lead with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
The study included companies of various sizes across multiple industries. The distribution of respondents by sector was uneven, and each company was weighted equally. Industry-level results were not adjusted for the relative size of sectors in the economy and reflect the practices of participating companies rather than the entire business landscape of Ukraine.
