Credit history in one click: Just ask Diia.AI, and AI will do the rest

26/09/2026
Worried about loans taken out by fraudsters in your name? Checking your financial history is now easier than ever. The Diia app features Diia.AI, an intelligent assistant that lets users instantly obtain a credit report from the Ukrainian Bureau of Credit Histories (UBKI). This makes it easier to stay on top of your finances and detect suspicious loans in a timely manner.

The document request process has been fully automated. Users simply ask the AI assistant to provide their credit history. The system automatically retrieves the user’s registration number of the taxpayer's account card (RNOKPP) and sends the request to its partners. There is no need to enter personal information manually or upload scans of documents. The service is available anywhere with an internet connection and access to the Diia mobile app.

How the request is processed

The interaction with the assistant consists of several steps:

  • Request: The user submits a request to Diia.AI.

  • Verification: UBKI checks its database and determines whether the user is eligible for a free report.

  • Delivery: The app generates a PDF file that can be saved to the user’s device.

  • Reminder: One year later, the system sends a push notification reminding the user that they can request another free report.

  • Alternative option: In the event of a technical issue, the assistant will offer to redirect the user to the bureau’s website.

The value of the innovation

The new feature significantly reduces the time required to check your credit history. Ukrainians can quickly review their financial obligations, identify unfamiliar loans or spot errors, and contact the relevant lender to resolve them. A free report is available once a year. If a user has already used their annual allowance, the assistant will provide the date when they can request their next free report.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation is also open to working with other credit bureaus, provided they are fully prepared for technical integration.

Privacy and data protection

Diia.AI’s intelligent agent operates in full compliance with government regulations governing the use of artificial intelligence technologies. The tool follows strict cybersecurity standards, including end-to-end encryption and anonymization protocols. Diia.AI does not view users’ personal data, and it does not share this information with neural language models. Users can clear their chat at any time and permanently delete their conversation history.

The service was developed jointly with the Ukrainian Bureau of Credit Histories (UBKI), with expert support from the Digitalisation for Growth, Integrity and Transparency Project (UK DIGIT), implemented by Eurasia Foundation and funded by UK International Development, and with support from the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program, implemented by East Europe Foundation.
