Eye-controlled learning: Teen inclusion project to represent Ukraine at the global Teens in AI 2026
Two days of intensive brainstorming in a Design Sprint format — and the winners of the national selection for Teens in AI 2026 have been chosen.
Team HOW AI will advance to the global final. Five girls and one boy from Irpin Lyceum developed EyraLearning, a platform designed for children with motor impairments. Using AI and a standard webcam, the system tracks eye movement, allowing students to control their learning experience simply by looking at the screen. The solution makes education truly barrier-free.
In April, the team will represent Ukraine at the international Global Demo Day, where participants from 101 countries will compete. Before that, the winners will take part in IT Future Fest 2026 in Lviv.
The event was organized in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Lviv IT Cluster, and with support from TechMagic.
We are creating the conditions for Ukrainian youth not only to study technology, but to build products that compete on a global stage.
