Ukrainian cyber resilience in focus: Google highlights Ministry of Digital Transformation case at security conference
Ukraine is among the top five targets for hackers worldwide. To ensure that government services can withstand any attack, we are implementing leading solutions from global technology leaders, including Google.
At the Munich Security Conference, Google presented a study on government digital resilience, with Ukraine’s experience at the center of attention. Our services operate on secure technologies:
-
Diia.AI — the first national AI agent delivering public services. It runs on the Gemini model, certified to the highest security standards. Most importantly, it ensures complete privacy: the model processes requests but does not store user data or use it for further training.
-
National large language model on Gemma — the open-source Gemma model allows Ukraine to deploy it on its sovereign infrastructure, maintaining full control over all data.
-
Cloud technologies — by moving from local services in Ukraine to Google cloud solutions, we have protected government data from Russian missile strikes and cyberattacks targeting physical infrastructure. Cloud deployment enables automatic verification of every entry point and device, creating a level of security beyond the reach of outdated local systems.
Our digital transformation experience is becoming a benchmark for the democratic world, including NATO countries. Learn more about how innovation is protecting Ukraine’s digital borders at this link.
